Working with Pipe, I found a new passion
I met Pipe in the world of Ultimate Frisbee, where we were both outstanding players of the Colombian National Team during the Club World Cup that took place in Italy in 2014. There we became friends.
I didn´t see him again until several years later, when the pandemic drastically changed our lives. My profession as a social communicator and journalist got on pause and I had to adapt to new financial realities, learning valuable lessons about life and survival.
Given the need to reactivate ourselves, my wife and I, explored opportunities in the digital world and discovered the dropshipping business thanks to contacts like Felipe Barrios and Laura Restrepo. Despite initial doubts, I decided to immerse myself in this new path, supported by the wise perspective of my wife and the inspiration of testimonies from people like Felipe, Alfredo and Pipe with whom I shared moments in Ultimate.
This journey led me to understand that success goes beyond material wealth, valuing the importance of leading, teaching and enhancing the abilities of others. His passion and leadership are inspirational
I met Pipe at an event I attended with my husband. This coincidence marked a turning point in my life, since until that moment I had never considered great aspirations beyond finding a stable job after graduating. However, seeing the success of young people at the event, I realized that it was possible to achieve more ambitious goals if I dared to do something different.
Comparing the job opportunities as a psychologist in Colombia with the potential of the project that I learned about at the event, I decided to go for the latter. This decision led me to dream big and visualize a future full of achievements and new experiences, something that I had not even allowed myself to imagine before.
Through a remote mentoring process with Pipe, I was able to develop within the business. His passion and leadership were inspiring, especially during my experience working in Bogotá with him. His encouraging words and example pushed me to keep going even in difficult times.

His extroversion complemented my initial shyness
I met Pipe at a crucial time in my professional life. After years of working as an aeronautical engineer, I found myself without a contract and looking for new opportunities. It was then that the b:hip project crossed my path, a proposal that piqued my interest. Although I was always more traditional in my approaches to work, the idea of exploring something new immediately appealed to me.
As I delved deeper into the business, I became more and more enthralled. Despite having no prior experience in online industries, I decided to dive into this adventure. It was an opportunity to break with convention and build something of my own in the long term. Furthermore, the fact that I could combine it with my passion for traveling made it even more attractive.
My relationship with Pipe became a fundamental pillar both personally and professionally. Although we were very different in terms of personality, we found a balance that benefited our work dynamics. His extroversion complemented my initial shyness, and together we formed a solid and friendly team in the business.
Thanks to the b:hip project, my vision of the working world changed completely. I discovered that there are multiple paths to success and that tradition is not the only option. I have developed leadership skills, I have ventured into public speaking and I have managed to achieve goals that I never imagined.
